The house has two bathrooms. Both are served by the energy-efficient on-demand heater for infinite hot water, and both showers can drain, if desired, to water the shade trees in the yard (all greywater systems must copy with local health codes, as periodically updated).
- The master bathroom is entered through the master bedroom. It has a shower stall built into the wall, covered with smooth sea-green Moroccan lime plaster (tadelakt). The floor is made with pebble mosaic harvested from the Colorado River near Moab. The walls are lime plaster, with a deep terra-cotta lime wash on two of them. The floor and countertop are tile.
- The second bathroom is off the main room. It has a ceramic bathtub with stall walls of the same tadelakt plaster, edged with ceramic slate tile. The floor is natural slate tile. The walls are light green lime plaster, and the lower portion of the walls have been coated in milk paint with a hard cream finish (to provide an easily wipeable surface in case of spills and splashes). The counter is beaten copper with a white porcelain basin, and the cabinets are copper and salvaged weathered cedar (the same as the trim and the kitchen cabinets). There is a linen closet behind the door and a slate-lined window by the shower.
